Game of Thrones season 8: Star drops HUGE hint they’ll return to KILL the Night King

GAME OF THRONES season eight may still be over a year away but one star of the show has dropped a major spoiler regarding the Night King’s downfall.

Tom Wlaschiha, who is best know for his role of Jaqen H’ghar, hinted that his character could make a surprise return to the show to help defeat the villian.

“I think Jaqen certainly could kill the Night King,” he teased. “But you know, these things happen in their own time. So I cannot give you a date.”

The actor went on to praise Arya Stark’s (played by Maisie Williams) progress throughout the previous season.

When asked by BBC Entertainment if Jaqen would approve of her skills, he replied: “I think he definitely would.

Game of Thrones: Tom Wlaschiha hinted Jaqen could return to the series

“She’s been pretty successful in season seven and that’s the whole point of training her.”

Meanwhile, the 44-year-old told the Manila Bulletin that he’s glad the HBO fantasy series is coming to end.

“There are so many storylines worth exploring further but there has to be a reason, I think,” Tom said.

“Personally, I think it’s a good idea that ‘GOT’ comes to an end after eight seasons. It’s like a perfect notch and not that you like a show that’s going on forever.

“The audience has been looking for this end to come on for seven seasons so I think it’s only fair that they are given what they are expecting.”

It comes after Emilia Clarke accidentally revealed a clash between her character Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

In the season seven finale, the truth about the King in the North’s parentage was revealed, however the new lovers are still in the dark about their family ties.

When probed about how the Mother of Dragons will react to learning the truth about Jon’s parents, the actress may have accidentally let slip that there will be a huge falling out.

“Yeah, what’s up with that?” she told Access Hollywood, before letting out a nervous laugh.

When pressed further, she insisted: “I’m not saying anything, for heaven’s sake!”

Game of Thrones will return to Sky Atlantic in 2019.
